On Oct. 16, 2019, DOT issued a press release announcing that NHTSA plans to invite comment in 2020 on possible revisions to the NCAP program that will involve new technologies, new test procedures, updates to vehicle labeling, advancements in crash-test dummies, etc. For a copy of the announcement, click here.
