Started by Dale Kardos & Associates over 20 years ago, MotorVehicleRegs has become an institutional name in the automotive industry for providing the most comprehensive regulatory and legislative tracking (see Products). It has been used by dozens of automakers, suppliers and trade associations around the world. The blog was added in 2008 to provide real time insights into the latest US regulatory and legislative news.

In late 2024, Dale partnered with Richard Colley of RWC Regulatory who has taken over day-to-day operations the MotorVehicleRegs products and blog, and will grow its reach and impact on the automotive industry. Dale will continue to provide an advisory role in this next phase.
